Red Ash Ride

Here is a brief slide show that highlights our four-wheelin' adventure from Sunday.
Good fun in the mud with the frogs. I love my husband and I sure like this time of year at Summer's end. So many beautiful flowers putting on a last display of the season!

Saw lots of wildlife and butterflies.

  1. That sure looked like lots of fun! What a cool way to tailgate too. I recognized the ironweed, did I also see some Joe Pye Weed too?

  2. Hi Dana, Four-wheeling would be so much fun... We hike ---so we can't get that far BACK in the woods/mountains... When you get that deep in the woods, don't you just feel as if the world is ALL YOURS???? Love it...

Great SmileBox slideshow.. Looks like fun --and that dinner looked superb...YUM..

    Hugs,
    Betsy

    1. Betsy, it is lots of fun. We manage what I consider the best of all possible worlds. We hike, bushwhack, kayak & 4x4. It allows us to see a wide assortment of places and things. Eliminating any one of those would knock out a world of beauty! Thanks for the compliment. The dinner was simple fare, but tasty!

  3. Hi Dana, Just found your blog from Pearl @ Serenity Cove, but now see you also know my friends Betsy and Mamabug!! Can't BELIEVE I haven't found you before as I'm always looking for new friends who love "MY" mountains as much as I do. I'm in Knoxville and hike the Smokies as often as possible mostly because it convenient and I love being on the trail. But you've inspired me with some of your gorgeous waterfall pics in prime hiking areas south and west of me. Can't wait to check some of them out and can't wait to get to know you better! Sharon
