I hope I didn't leave anyone out.  Apologies If I missed you.

Our daughter Crystal and son-in-law Adam along with their two children Michael and Tessa moved three years ago from Blount Beach to Nebo Mountain.   They have a nice home that has a large, open floor plan.  We've had Easter dinner there the past three years.   We attended church at Jared & Lydia's church at RIO East.   It was great.   We even got to partake in Communion Service. We went home and had time to prepare for a late lunch/early supper at their home.  I was relieved since I'd only gotten home Saturday.  I didn't know how I was going to pull off cooking for lunch.   We gathered at 3:30 pm and ate about 4 pm.   It was perfect timing.   We had a house full of people and one dog!  This is Rip the Weimaraner's first Easter! He is fun, but he is rowdy. They got one of those shock collars for helping him mind.   He seldom has to be zapped as he sees the collar and settles down.  He is a giant puppy.

Uncle Biff (Adam) had set up the bouncy castle in the back yard.   Mia Koogler, my youngest granddaughter showed up making sure to bring her bathing suit.    I learned two weeks later that while she played in the creek at Aunt Yaya's (Crystal) she caught a crawdad in her bare hands!  She told me "Did you know there were baby lobsters in Yaya's creek??  All you got to do to catch them is like this!" and she demonstrated snatching it.  I was never fast enough or brave enough to catch one barehanded. I used a net or mostly a Dixie cup.    I picked them up, but only after I caught them. She went on to tell me  "They have pinchers, but you hold them behind those. Besides that they are so tiny even if they pinch you it doesn't hurt!"  I need to never miss another chance to take them to the creek. I want to witness this for myself!

We had too much food as usual, but it was so good!  Ham, grilled salmon, green beans, rolls, salad, fruit, a groaning board of desserts. I made a yellow cake with caramel icing.   It is a favorite.    Lots of good cooks in this family.

There were many funny conversations as usual.  Joe thinks I should run for Blount County School Board. My daughter disagrees. She says I'll end up in jail or escorted out of the meetings!   I tell it like it is.   I don't play nice.

My heart was very full of joy and peace.  It is not wasted on me the sacrifice my Savior made in dying to reconcile sinful me to a perfect, holy God.  It isn't wasted on me how He has healed my family from drug addiction, strife, and brought us this far.   Thank you Lord!  I sat there watching my children, extended family and grandchildren together. Everyone getting along. Everyone loves each other and LIKES each other.   The kids weren't worried much about hiding eggs this year.   They were about playing.  It wouldn't have been a Nebolian Easter without four wheelers and shenanigans.  At one point me and Rip the Dog crashed the kids bouncy castle.  We sneaked in. It was hilarious.  They were yelling to get Rip out of there. Laughing at clumsy Nanny with her new bionic knees crawling and wallowing around in that bouncy castle.  Normal is boring, but for us crazy is normal!
