Atlas Falls Directions
Follow the main road upstream along the Emory River the road is Gobey Road aka Macedonia Road depending upon the map.
There is a series of gated roads that ford the Emory River and go into the Frozen Head State Natural Area.
They are numbered #1-through 5. The first one you come to on the right is Gate #1 Sang Branch.
Pass Sang Branch Gate#1 on your right and turn LEFT onto the next dirt road
Stay on this road for about 2 miles and watch for Atlas Falls on your RIGHT down over the embankment. It is in easy sight of the road about 50 feet away.
You will drive through a stream at least twice before coming to this. The road is a rough, four wheel drive road. It is a beautiful drive especially in Spring.
You will have passed at least two potential left turns along this dirt road. Do not take either one to stay on the main road and see Atlas Falls.
