Blackhouse Mountain Four Wheeling Directions to Parking, Mineral Lake, Wow Overlook and Yellow Doors Overlook
Where to Park
There is a nice large parking spot on the LEFT side of Blackhouse Mountain Road heading west. It is past Mesa Top Trailhead parking for Pogue Creek Canyon. Other decent spots exist on further out, but this is probably the best place. No restrooms, water, or trash cans here. Pack it in... pack it out.
You will pass Spraughs Ridge Road on the right before you get to it.

Yellow Doors is slightly SW. It look west toward Pall Mall. Use navigation or your phone to assist you if you can. Blackhouse Mountain Road is shown on Google Maps as going from Hwy 154 and splitting with one arm of it going north and the other west to its terminus at the Yellow Doors Cliff site.
Stay with the main track of the road and avoid turning off sharply. You will know you have arrived when you see that you cannot go further for the cliff.
It is the site where Sergeant Alvin York did his soul searching as to whether to remain a conscientious objector during WWI.
My apologies. I have been to Yellow Doors overlook twice and took photos and video. I am unable at this time to put my hands on them. Perhaps they are lost to me. It is an excuse to return to get photos and video ASAP!
