Yellow Creek Falls Directions--Tapoco
I am going through my blog adding directions to places I should have included long ago.
Yellow Creek Falls is beautiful in any season. It is an easy hike and as such I guess no one needed directions.
Driving Directions:
From Tapoco Lodge Drive past the lodge on your right along Hwy 129 for a little less than 4 miles. There is parking for half dozen cars on the LEFT at the trailhead and an information kiosk.
Hiking Directions:
The hike begins at the parking lot near the info kiosk. The creek will be on the right facing uphill from the parking lot. Hike the well maintained trail for 0.25 miles to the main falls shown in a photo on here. There are other drops along the way that are worth taking a look at. The entire hike is pretty. It is not hard to turn aside and climb down carefully to view the other worthwhile drops.
