Driving Directions:
From Rickman and Intersection of Hwy 84 and Rt. 293
near the Livingston Quik Stop convenience store.
Turn onto Dry Hollow Road and head east for 6.20 miles to where Shiloh Road comes in from the left. From here the road name changes to Sunk Cane Road but continue straight on this road for a total of 9 miles to a red gated pull off on the left.
From Hanging Limb and SR 164 at the Convenience Center (dumpster/recycle site)
Drive South on Hwy 164 2 miles. Turn right onto Sunk Cane Road and stay on that for 2.50 miles to a pull off on the right. Hard to see coming from this direction. Red gate just past it.
Park at the pull off before the gate.
Hiking Directions:
Park to the right of the gate. climb the gate and walk straight to the back of the pasture
On the right hand side of the pasture the trail enters the woods now. Hike about another 0.20 miles and you will begin to hear the sound of water. Follow it over to the brink of the
sinkhole where water flows down and re-enters the ground in a cave. Use care near the unprotected and slippery edge of the sinkhole.
