City Lake Falls on Tennessee Landforms 

Driving Directions:

From your house at Boatland Rd the fastest, simplest way to get to City Lake Falls will take a little over an hour with normal traffic.

Go out and hit Hwy 52 toward Livingston. Once there in Livingston pick up Hwy 111 south and head south on that for 17 miles. Once in Cookeville at the intersection of Hwy 111 south and Hwy 70 East.. .which is E. Spring Street turn onto this Rt 70 North/E. Spring Street and go 2.25 miles East/Southeast to a LEFT turn onto Bridgeway Drive. There is a convenience store on the corner at the turn called Mike's Market. Once on Bridgeway Drive go 1/4 mile to a parking lot by the lake. It will be a left turn into the lot and there is a large sign by the entrance saying City Lake Natural Area.

Hiking Directions:

The parking lot here is large. If you are in the lot standing facing the lake straight ahead of you the trail will be on your left. Watch for where the trail follows a stream out of the left side of the lot and goes 0.30 miles to the falls. There is an old brick building there of some kind and a viewing platform. It is an extremely easy walk under shady trees. Almost no uphill grade to it. Good Spring wildflower walk.
