Little Falls Directions--Spencer TN
This is publicly accessible land owned by the Van Buren Co. School system, but near a residential area. No facilities such as restrooms, trash receptacles or official parking improvements. Please be respectful and tidy if you visit so the area residents do not begin to complain and potentially ruin access to this site. It is a really nice, easy hike. Officially the hike is supposed to begin at the trailhead on Turkey Scratch Road. They had temporarily suspended access to that because of logging activity. I have not been round there to see if that is once more accessible. If I find out it is I will post directions from that way. I will also post a trip report on how it is.

Driving Directions : From Dollar General along Hwy 111 in Spencer.
Turn onto Little Falls road and drive about 0.7 miles until you come to the
power line where they have clear cut. Park out of the road.
Hike Directions: Begin the hike by walking down into the power line
clearing. Once over the berm of earth where they have cleared you will
probably see where foot traffic has formed a path. Follow it down
and left to the stream and turn left to follow the creek a very short
distance to the brink of the falls. There is a path here that leads down to the base.
Total hike distance to the falls is about 0.3 miles one way.
