Each year I strive to visit a place or places with beautiful daylilies or lilies of any type.
I write up a blog piece about the visits and include lots of photos. I've been doing this for years.
The 2021 edition was particular good because I got a lot of friends, relatives and neighbors involved.
Their participation made it special.
Plans for this season are

If you would like to participate or have your lilies featured please let me know. I can include an entire garden, or one flower photo or several flower photos you'd like to contribute. I always appreciate getting a little history about them if you don't mind sharing. I am sentimental and love hearing people's stories about where flowers came from especially if they are family hand me downs. I give credit to the person who provided the info and picture. I am always happy to include a photo of you or your loved one who gave you the flowers to start with.

I tend not to have the article written up until around July 4th or the next week.
That said I am going ahead and listing some suggestions of places readers may want to visit themselves. You won't want to wait around on me to go and then report back for then it may be past peak bloom.

The Oake's allowed me to visit their place in 2020 when I could go and despite covid having many places off limits. I will never forget it.

The Lily Barn in Townsend, TN .. you are welcome to visit there anytime the lilies are blooming provided they don't have an event like a wedding going on. Only once have I driven over in the evening and found they had an event. That was last year. 2025. No big deal for me as I can be there in 15 minutes.
